Meet Vivian Moore


Name: Vivian Moore

Background: Born to a mother who didn’t want her, she was constantlybelittled and told that she wasn’t worth the clothes on her back. Never once inthe years that her mother was alive was she touched, or praised by the woman. Fifteenyears of this treatment caused the girl to nearly lose her mind, crawl intoherself and become an introvert while also losing the ability to recognize thatshe was beautiful for being herself. Her mother, who didn’t accept that herdaughter wasn’t as pretty as she herself, ended up dead by the knife of Vivian.They tried her, and said that the girl was mentally unstable, and put her in award, hoping that keeping her there would slowly bring her back to reality. Butno one touches her, for they say that if you do, the same treatment will happento you.

Education: She went through to middle school, but her first year ofhighschool was the last formal institution that gave her education before shewas sent to Swarthmore. There they have classes to keep them up amused, butthey don’t really learn much. Many of the patients there aren’t consideredsmart, and when they are they are considered dangerous.

Friends: There were few people that were actually her friends. It washard for her to make friends when she really never learned how to love or carefrom someone because of her mother. So the few friends that she acquired in schoolwere either quiet and distant, or didn’t really like her. Now at theinstitution she finds few friends, but like the others they don’t touch her forfear of making her angry.

Enemies: Why would the girl have any enemies if in turn she tries tokeep to herself. The relatives of her mother would be some, her father possiblyand the town that she came from but most people don’t care enough about her toeven make enemies.

Dating, marriage: Even if she had wanted to love or find someone to loveher, everything has been flushed down a toilet because of that now. With thetrial and the acts that she did to her mother she believes no one would wanther.

Relationship with God: Therewas a relationship that she had with him, but it was lost when she felt like hehad abandoned her.

Overall outlook on life: Grim: the only thing that she wanted was takenaway

Does this character like herself: Shehates herself, she has a lot of hate for herself. Vivian believes that she isworthless.

What, if anything, would she like to change about his life: If she could have a different mothershe believes at some point she would be better. All she everwanted was her mother’s love and affection and she never got it.

Is she lying to herself about something? She’s lying to herself about the factshe hates her mother. In turn she truly loves her mother and just craves theattention she isn’t getting and her heart longs for something that she willnever get and that is what she hates.

          How much self-control andself-discipline does he have: Anymore,her self control is blown, part of her has lost her mind because she has killedher mother, and part of her mind is still sane. The only thing about Vivian isyou never know which one that you will get.

When happy: Is so seldom happy that no one really knows what she lookslike when she is, but most assume that she would smile, possibly even laugh.

When angry: Anger throws her into a rage, Vivian loses her mind andcomplete control of her body as she attacks anything and everything that getstoo close to her. The girl is not above attacking or trying to claw out someone’seyes.

When sad: It is hard to tell when she is sad and angry. The descriptionsare so close that is hard to see the differences, but when she is sad she willnot only act enraged but she will tremble like a leaf and cry. She never criestears of anger, always tears of sadness.
