Name: Ivan Tate

Background: Though very young, he is very cynical and harsh for his age, and keeping with it, he was the youngest of the twins, his older brother tending to be the good to his bad. When he was born, his mother swore that her children had been switched out for changelings, and refused to care for them, fearful that they would hurt her when they would move things with their mind. It wasn’t until years later that he realized that not only could they move things, but they could also read not only what one another were thinking, but also what everyone around them thought. Name: Teresa Karras

Background: Brought forth in a family of three, not born, but summoned by her father who is a Demigod, son to Hades, and the only way for eternal life was for him to take the souls of others and bring them to his true father. But contrary to belief, he could never pull souls himself, but was an extremely skilled necromancer and with the powers gained by his father, he made three girls, those who were to take the souls of the people that surrounded him so that he could live forever. For the girls sake, the souls were around the humans necks, encased in a heart shaped necklace. The more necklaces they had, the longer that they would be beautiful. It would show after a few weeks whether or not they were taking souls. Throughout their time since her birth, which was way way back, each sister had done something wrong, and for her love for animals, the girl made sure that when a giant flood was coming that she would bring two of each animal on her own boat so that they wouldn’t drown. Of course, Christians see this differently, but all that matters to the girl is that they are alive.

Never once inthe years that her mother was alive was she touched, or praised by the woman. Fifteenyears of this treatment caused the girl to nearly lose her mind, crawl intoherself and become an introvert while also losing the ability to recognize thatshe was beautiful for being herself. Her mother, who didn’t accept that herdaughter wasn’t as pretty as she herself, ended up dead by the knife of Vivian.They tried her, and said that the girl was mentally unstable, and put her in award, hoping that keeping her there would slowly bring her back to reality. Butno one touches her, for they say that if you do, the same treatment will happento you.

Such a lonely day it was, one which it was raining, and all Icould do is stay inside or run the risk of getting pneumonia and dying. A bitover dramatic? Maybe, but it was extremely important for me to say so. Idecided that I wanted to write a scene revolving around the music that wasplaying on my iPod. Was it particularly good music, things to fill my mind and soul? Possibly.  Then the idea came to me, why don’t I do this more often,pull songs who’s themes are not decided by myself, and twine my one charactersthrough them and learn more about my characters and my own writing style.  SoI will take a group of my characters, and where between five to ten of them,and each week bring at least one of them into a scene that has to do with oneof the songs; meaning it either has the lyrics in the dialog, the setting, orhas the theme of the song throughout the scene. Each post, or scene, should beanywhere between two to five thousand words long. I am not going to give myselfa limit on the creative activity that I do, but I will give myself a minimum.

Each character will have their own post that breaks down theirpersonality, history, relation to other characters(if any). A list of tentative songsthat might be put into the group, but any song that isn’t on the list that youthink would be a good addition to the list, don’t be a stranger, just send mean email and I won’t mind to take a look at it!

Right now I have a list of tentative characters from my booksand or short stories that will be pulled into this blog. Each name will be alink to the character's bio!
